Friend Wins ‘All-Access’ trip with CBS

You always wonder if these things actually happen, but after this, I gues they do. Earlier this week, I got an email from a friend that said that she was a finalist in the ‘All-Access Pass’ with CBS’s Early Show’s Dave Price. This morning, Lauren checked the website and she won. Go Adrienne!!!!! (please no humming of the Rocky Theme) Well off she goes we’ll find out how it was when she gets back.

Great Commercial

Usually I would not go out of my way to blog about a commercial (but actually I probably would but I’m only just getting into having my own blog) anyways… I saw this commercial while watching the season opener for Grey’s Anatomy (I won’t get into why I like the show here). Anyways…. finally a commercial/show/piece of tv history where it tries to get you do be helpful not because someone is helpful to you, because you see someone help another. How true is that, why do we wait till someone is nice to us before we help… why don’t we just help in hope that someone else helps another person because of te example we set.

Self pride

Wow, I read engadget everyday, who ever think that I’d be working on a project that they post. I’m working on NOAA’s Hurricane Research Division’s (hrd) side bringing the data into a visual app we developed.

If half of this proves true, I can’t wait for an ALP powered Palm

While link jumping from a post at PalmAddicts, I stumbled across this post through Palmsource’s Opensource news site. If have of what is posted is true about the ALP system, I can wait to grab hold of a new Treo running ALP as soon as it is available. I’m really beginning to be happy that I decided tosave my money and buy a used 600, instead of goinging with the 650 since hopfully ALP should hit the market mid next year. I wouldn’t be able to justify buy 2 $400 dollor phones in 1 year.
