Writers Strike Officially Over [Official Source]
“The strike is over. Our membership has voted, and writers can go back to work,” said Patric M. Verrone, president of the Writers Guild of America, West. “This was not a strike we wanted, but one we had to conduct in order to win jurisdiction and establish appropriate residuals for writing in new media and on the Internet.

Now is an amazing time to be in the market for a new mobile smartphone. Since the release of the iPhone the mobile market has been undergoing many changes. A large change is reflected in the Operating System side. Between the iPhone and Google’s Android system many changes are in store for the market. Nokia’s Symbian has a strong position among mobile operating systems, but announcements from Microsoft, LiMo, and others show the competition’s heating up. The next 6months or so of product releases should be interesting.
